Assistant Manager / Teacher
Focus: Operational Excellence, Enrollment, and Teaching Support
Work Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Position Overview
The Assistant Manager / Teacher is the operational and pedagogical backbone of Cucoon. This role requires a blend of professional salesmanship for admissions and active instructional leadership. You are responsible for ensuring every enquiry is converted while being ready to step into the classroom to maintain high standards of "New Age Learning" until the final child is picked up at 6:00 PM.
Core Responsibilities
Admissions & Marketing:
- Manage and respond to enquiries from all media including email, telephone, and walk-ins. Conduct detailed facility tours highlighting premises and specific learning activities.
- Maintain a detailed follow-up document with comments and specific reasons for denial of admission.
- Assist the Center Head in promotional engagements and marketing events outside school premises.
Teaching & Pedagogical Support:
- Provide teaching cover and lead classes as required to ensure continuous "New Age" instruction.
- Implement enquiry-based and play-led learning methods during classroom stints.
- Assist in creating and following lesson plans based on the British EYFS Curriculum.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their welfare, safety, and comfort.
Operational Ownership:
- Manage and operate School portals and the school’s communication app
- Maintain an "Imprest Account" for petty cash, ensuring all bills and vouchers are signed and recorded.
- Submit group-wise school craft item lists (paints, glue, etc.) every 2nd and 4th Friday.
- Monitor and replenish stocks of stationery, refreshments, and maintenance agents periodically.
Extended Care & Safety:
- Act as the primary lead and backup for Day-care until 6:00 PM.
- Track day care pick-up/drop timings and ensure day care fee payments are current.
- Maintain a "Zero-gap" safety environment through constant supervision.
Key Deliverables
- Monthly Conversion and Enquiry Progress Report.
- Audited Inventory Logs for school resources and maintenance supplies.
- Approved Weekly Lesson Plans (when in a teaching capacity).
- Meticulously updated Teacher Diaries and child logs.
General Terms & Attendance * Saturday Participation: Mandatory attendance for Open Days, PTCs, and promotional events (approximately twice a term).
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
