IT Operations and Services
Perform Console Operations, Batch Monitoring and Production Scheduling tasks.
Perform IPL activities.
Should be able to issue MVS commands.
Perform MVS console activities.
Ability to manage unscheduled outage.
Knowledge on JCL and do necessary abend fixes if required.
Ensure the nature of issue and escalate to the correct group.
Follow up any high severity issues until it gets resolved.
Production problem investigation and resolution.
Coordination with team members on escalation and high priority issues.
Perform HMC operations. Knowledge on Mainframe storage volumes, Tape etc.
Familiar with SDSF, ISPF, JCL, TSO, VTAM, CICS, DB2, $AVRS, SAR, SYSVIEW
First-level incident / problem determination and resolution on a 24x7 basis
Service incidents and queries within the agreed service levels
Timely escalation of incidents to higher levels when required
Log file monitoring for errors.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly proactive housekeeping and monitoring activities
Perform Standard Change Management.
Perform basic Service Requests based on Standard Operating Procedures
Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement
Roles & Responsibilities:
Minimum Experience Required: 1-3 YEARS
Mandatory Skills: Mainframe Admin
Infra Administration and Maintenance, Mainframe Admin, Mainframe Administration
Desirable Skills: IT Operations and Services
Language Skills: English Language
