Scanning of all documents if any hits arise means we will report to AML team for approval.
Processing of bill after getting the approval from AML and we will close.
Remittances (payments) for Domestic, UK, Belgium at Global Trade Services Unit, Axis Bank limited, my responsibilities include:
Scrutiny of the MT 103 messages received and checking for the adherence to AML
Processing the transaction if the payment comply with the AML policy and provided all the mandatory fields are in place.
Nostro reconciliation on daily basis.
Taking FX-Online deals for the cross-currency transactions.
Funds reporting to treasury on timely basis.

Processing the transaction in FINACLE
Making and Verifying of MT 103/MT 202 swift messages.
Checking out intermediary banks for the swift to be routed.
Taking FX-Online deals for the cross-currency transactions.

Meeting the deadlines of currency cut-offs for processing as well as for funds reporting to treasury.
Preparing monthly reports.

It was in my last organization, namely, Axis Bank Limited, I was handling profile of Corporate Salary Manager with almost 200 corporates mapped to me. One among those was Indian Army, where soldiers most of the time were seen on border with no internet/Wi-Fi available except on cell phones and they move from one place to another and seldom get time to visit bank branch during working hours in regard to money transfer for there families. So, they requested bank to increase the working hours for them else they will be moving to competition bank as the same was not possible as per RBI guidelines. To give them a resolution, I along with my team promoted IMT (Instant money Transfer).
IMT is an innovative domestic money remittance service that allows you to send money to a receiver only by using the receiver's mobile number. The receiver can withdraw money from an Axis Bank ATM with or without using a card. The receiver receives all the details required for withdrawal of the cash on his or her mobile phone.
Now, with this facility they can send money to their family through mobile itself at that too at any time. This product has helped me in increasing cross sell/up selling with many products like family accounts Mortgages, D mat/ OTR/ Trading accounts, Insurance - General & Life, Mutual Funds, Gold bars and many more.
By this, I learned that nothing is impossible and every problem has a solution and where there is a will there is a way.
A typical day at work starts with morning con-call which covers the up trends in the market, business numbers, focus for the week, followed by analyzing MIS & Business Reports to understand sales trends, identify grey areas & resolve issues accordingly. Major portion of the day goes into conceptualizing & driving rolled out campaigns, prepare MIS reports, liaison with other departments, Central office & teams for synergy & activation of channel. I am also responsible for biweekly coaching & mentoring sessions of Relationship Managers & Service Relationship Managers, driving recruitment & selection of manpower as per shortfall.
