Genpact doesn't differentiate between technical and non-technical talents. Puts them into one bucket, evaluates them on the same basis and above all compensates them on the same guidelines. A smart arts graduate having average Excel knowledge has an equal chance of being compensated more than a BE graduate working on SQL server reporting.
People having good technical knowledge or seeking technical excellence in their jobs should avoid going there. They will be promised a lot in interviews, which do not get delivered, so people generally find themselves out of place and are always in a mood of quitting. Genpact has a clear cut "DON'T GET LOST IN TECHNICAL STUFFS, FOCUS ON THE BUSINESS" policy.
As most of the managers are technically illiterate and only understand the business/Excel language, it's easy for smart guys having average technical expertise to create high impressions. Issues spread like wildfire and quality checkers are always in a mood of getting noticed by finding out issues with reports, as there is no other way of getting noticed. Managers tend to have their favorites for promotion.
Genpact gives its people time to learn the business, but reduces their technical ability. But a few lucky people get opportunities to get trained in desired technologies. The training process takes its time and you get ample time to learn.
Genpact has acquired some really good paymasters like Headstrong, Empow

One day I had to leave my office around 1:00 PM and my shift timing is 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM,then before one day I told to my manager I have to go early,it's something important to do then my manager allowed me it's fine you can go but you will have to complete 9:00 hours shift,So because of this I had to reach office at 4:00 AM. So this was typical for me not because of reach office at 4:00 AM because of travelling in mid night around 2-3 o'clock just after 3-4 hours reaching my home in that night.
GENPACT is my first employer so I learnt how to behave in a professional life, how to work together as a team in a corporate world, how to groom myself for career prospective, what knowledge should I learn in my domain, how make myself valuable in my industry.
Management has the responsibility to not only safeguard the employer's investment and increase its value by managing the business efficiently so that it earns maximum profit but also think and care about their employee and they should provide good services , growth and handsome salary pack edge, So I just want to say that I just feel stagflation rather than inflation and it's little difficult to survive with this employer in these days.
I got a very awesome response from my co-worker.My colleagues have been a very helping,co-operative and supporting me since my joining. They helped me to gain good knowledge about my process so that I perform very well in future.
Today I handle some of the complex account of my client
ConsSometimes cabs are not on time, Shuttle route is little long
I will start with a small story about -how things works in Genpact:
1) Once upon a time there was a Printer accessible to everyone in the team, logistic team use to ensure availability of papers on daily basis...Life was a very SIMPLE/Easy going process....
2) A 'Genpact Manager' thought to Stream line this process, that-logistic team will not put up the paper in printer everyday, now whenever papers get exhausted someone in the team has to raise a Helpdesk ticket and then after few hour a logistic team will come and put on the paper again.
3) This 'Genpact Manager' received a Award for this SIX SIGMA IDEA and got certified from Genpact for saving some $............
Life become tough because printer was not readily available and team need to raise helpdesk ticket and have to wait for logistic for hours, now it was Team responsibility to ensure paper availability not the logistics.
4) Another 'Genpact Manager' comes in and thought to streamline this process and suggested that-only a manager will have access to the printer and everyone else in the team have to request Manager to take a printout.
5) This 'Genpact Manager' received a Award for this SIX SIGMA IDEA and got certified from Genpact.......
Life become worst for the team now for a single page print out also they have to visit Manager and justify the reason to print.
6) Slowly team stopped printing documents(whether official or non-official) due to complication of a SIMPLE process and slowly the printer was removed from
Prosoffices has good ambiance logistics securitycab facilities work from home(for women/managers only), good opportunities for social work through corporate social responsibilities
Cons1) not a good place for niche profiles, like software/engineering/medical/ca etc..., 90% of team member get some sort of award --not a justice to whom actually deserve its, there is a crowd of followers, they will finally proof that all your points above wrong

I establish a priority list of things to accomplish. Priority A, B and C. Priority A contains must do items. Things that will be more difficult if not prioritize first or substantially completed. I let nothing get in the way of starting and completing these. Priority B is very important, too. I make every attempt to complete these. However, priority B items can be somewhat negotiated if not completed. Priority C items are those maintenance things that should be done but won't affect operations much if not necessarily done that day. Sometimes priority C items take care of themselves. The important key to success is to accurately identify the proper category of priority.
Well, I gain a lot of knowledge & improved my skill sets at my previous / existing company & have delivered the projects exactly the way employer expecting from their employee.
I do not confirm to a specific management style. I try to adjust my style of management to each situation, since part of my job is to assess both the best way to complete the project efficiently and the style of leadership that works best with current staff dynamics.
I had an excellent professional relationship with my co workers, which gelled quite nicely with the company environment. People assisted one another. We worked as a team to solve problems and learned new skills to reach our team objectives.I made some good friends for life, who today can vouch for me on a professional basis.
The best part of the job is the variety
Managers are very user friendly in nature .They will support us very much.Collegues are also very fun and joyful in the process
A Typical day at work is once we got more number of two hours TAT Submission. At that time there are only two ARs including me to do those policies. At that time my colleague and me were did the work from two to two and half hours continuously sit and complete those policies.
I learned in the company is Corporate Etiquette that means how to behave with managers, Seniors and colleagues in MNC companies.
Also learn about the Process knowledge and some shortcuts in system which were nit known to me before this job.
Coming to management i will say it is good and also bad in some cases. Because for some internal opportunities the managers will select the people whom they know very much. They were not selected by the work performances. For this reason i was not like the management. But they even help for personal reasons. For this thing i liked them.
My co-workers are very friendly with me. They solve the queries in the process without any hesitation and i will also mostly crack some jokes in the process to relief from the work.
The Hardest part of the job is About VIC criteria. They include the QA (Auditors) people, Flag team (people who handle the queries of the Clients) and the Production people. For this reason i need to struggle more and more and to do more number of submission and need to stretch to get the VIC rating of EE.
The most enjoyable part of the job is to processing the Two hours TAT submission. It is difficult and also interest to do that Policies within the
ProsFor Annual Day and For Outing.
ConsI stretched many days to complete the Policies esecialy in initial days for the Process.
Dead end company culture, sadly it's really a BPO, in Digital disguise!
Senior Leadership talks about the latest, but it's pulling a wool over the industry's eyes... Dishonest marketing would a harsh way of putting it in perspective, lying in front of Senior Client folks is not uncommon.. would be really a show if any client actually asked to back up the claims made during client sales discussions..
the only thing which seems to be working was the GE legacy of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), somehow the've learnt to talk the market speak, which paints it in a glowing light, amazing how it's getting past the scrutiny... Even unfinished and non-working mock-ups are presented as fully operational!, guess that's what desperation in sales, and not doing your homeworks brings up....dishonesty
Culture or lack thereof is astounding, internal processes are for the junior folks to abide by and for the senior folks to trample all over with impunity, there's pockets of power politics, and yes boss seems to be order of the day, if one needs to grow in the organization, rather than fair play and professionalism...
As abraham lincoln once famously said: you can fool, some of the people, some of the time.. but you can't fool, all the people, all the time..
it's low pay, but some sense of job security, so lot of non-performers just hang around, with free passes by crony bosses in senior positions, just amazing at how some of the basic ethics and norms are broken in broad daylight... perhaps there's a reason to it.. all and which is why having a de
Prosyes bosses, will take you far, even if you don't perform.. so is the culture or lack thereof

Company Name: GENPACT
Sales and marketing solutions
Genpact hires people it feels are trustworthy to receive their tasks and who will work diligently to accomplish them. There is very little input or interference on the part of management so long as employees meet the specifications and expectations for the role they were hired for.
Training is not very structured, as new hires are expected to familiarize themselves with training materials and ask plenty of questions in order to fill in any gaps of understanding or knowledge. As such, it is important that those applying here are highly-motivated, self-driven, and comfortable opening dialogs when questions or issues arise.
For those who are detail oriented and able to focus on managing their time and workload without a lot of input or feedback, this is a great position. If, however, someone needs to have their hands held, or they expect that the absence of direct input means that no one is watching or performing quality control, your stay will be brief and unpleasant.
I have never experienced any issues with receiving time off when I needed it (Family, Medical, etc,) and Genpact's handling of the impact shelter-in-place and mask orders have levied against their operations has been top-tier, bar none. While no employer is perfect, they have done exceptionally well, and have taken very good care of their at-risk employees, as well as ensuring safe space for those who remain in-office on a day-to-day basis.
If I have anything to offer as advice to management, it is this: Go
ProsSignificant opportunity for lateral movement while waiting for promotional opportunities to arise, Safe space during COVID, A lot of trust and advancement opportunities
ConsInfrequent raises for hourly employees, Infrequent hiring, Preference for contract employees, Poor communication by lower management, Not enough live communication, too many bots
Producitive and fun workspace, filled with oportunities for improvement
My typical day at work starts with latching on to my phone in order to log in. After starting the PC and entering the system, I look in my calendar where all my daily activities are mapped to see “what’s up”. After that I open the program, the supporting database for query resolution and the business case system. Then I get an E-mail with my daily cases and start splitting my daily load so that I meet every deadline. In the morning I process the leftover requisitions from the day before. While my patience wrestles with the system working slightly slower the speed of my thoughts, I go through the requisition’s “accuracy check list” based on company code specifics. While doing the check, sometimes, depending on the stubbornness of some of the Material Groups I am obliged to consult my buddy, the purchasing tool.
After the prioritization of activities and calls the workload is processed:
After doing all needed, the moment of glory approaches: “It’s approval time!!” After which the requisition metamorphoses into a beautiful purchase order. The purchase order does not stop its evolution at this stage, turning into spectacular business claims. Thus, a fun day in a Bucharest buyer’s day lies for me within the talent of weaving these activities carefully with fun and interesting conversations among colleagues, out team getting as big as to include 9 people now and of course successfully blocking out background noise. (Amongst which: whispers, online popups, loud phone calls and m

Inconsistent Changes That Harm Employee Performance? "Welcome to Genpact!"
This review is from working at the Richardson, TX location for a year during the Covid-19 pandemic and from home during most of 2020 and the beginning of 2021.
Over the entire year, the job of Content Review Analyst is pretty simplistic and using the tools that Genpact has for the employees are helpful to a point. Employee metrics are EVERYTHING and if you aren't meeting them in some way, shape, or form then you will be talked to about them. We aren't just talking about Job performance either (how well you do your job), but other things that make it feel like that even if you are acing your work if you aren't acting as the 'cog in the machine' then you will be criticized no matter how well you work.
They also change how this job works after you get used to the last terrible method of doing things. Your scores are how you make your living, so getting used to how it works and how you do your job actually makes you SUFFER in the long run. Because once you actually understand your job and become confident, they change the way they score things and handle the work. This now means what got you metrics of 93 before now make you get metrics of 79, which they then get onto you for.
Work changes are one thing but they have no reason to make these kinds of changes as often as they do. They actively make changes that are anti-employee and often or not it feels like they target employees for them to fail. The position of Content Review Analyst/Social Media Moderation has such a high tu

Genpact is a global leader in transforming and running business processes and operations, including those that are complex and industry-specific. Genpact stands for Generating Impact—visible in tighter cost management as well as better management of risk, regulations, and growth for hundreds of long-term clients including more than 100 of the Fortune Global 500 – and of those, over 10 of the top 25. Our approach is distinctive: through an unbiased, agile combination of smarter process science, targeted technology and advanced analytics, we help our clients become more competitive by making their enterprises more intelligent: adaptive, innovative, globally effective, and connected to their own clients.
Genpact began in 1997 as a business unit within General Electric. This heritage has contributed to our deep understanding of process. As GE made Lean and Six Sigma pervasive, Genpact applied this same industrial engineering ethos to business processes operations for the first time. Built with single-minded passion for process science and operational excellence, Genpact’s Smart Enterprise Processes [hyperlink](SEPSM) methodology focused on business impact while safeguarding costs and limiting initial investment – igniting the global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services industry. In January 2005, Genpact became an independent company, bringing our process expertise and unique DNA in Lean Six Sigma to global clients. In August 2007 we became a publicly-traded company, (NYSE
Genpact, in many areas, compete with best of the breed. They are getting into niche business, partnering with strategic players building capabilities in disruptive areas, hiring key people to drive growth. Good marketing in digital space. Many new opportunities to work in, offering good exposure in emerging technologies. Corporate policies are liberal and competitive benefits. Seems good prospect overall.
However, actual work on ground seems unorganized. Much of new initiatives seem not to realize full potential and direction lost in lack of ownership, politics or in management that is unable to execute. Some folks in management seem risk averse and in some cases, India-based leadership does not seem to have strong relation with customer base that drives their business. There is often a feeling people are asked to do things just to check some boxes.Team engagement is a challenge, culture of integration is almost non-existent. US hires feel aloof in a work culture and environment that seems distinctly foreign. Many favor hiring within specific cultures that make them more comfortable, rather than best fit for role or business impact. Not a lot of structure in day to day work, many projects that are merely busy work or results of knee jerk reaction to address someone's concern. Meetings and time are poorly managed and not effective - most people don't join on time, people don't come prepared. There are many where no action is taken or assigned, Management needs to have bett
