This was a job, a paycheck. Not a career. Trying to work with AEs and management severely negatively impacted my mental health. Most of my coworkers were very mediocre with poor work ethic and little common knowledge. This made it very difficult to work with them. Luckily, they were decent people, but I often self-isolated to distress. Management is filled with people who are prematurely promoted simply because they've been there a few years. I had multiple managers there and have had a few jobs in my career. I can say that Indeed was some of the poorer management I've experienced in my working life. I've never encountered such nefariously calculated and negatively charged people in my life. The workplace culture; however, was awesome. Very relaxed. I would say, too relaxed at times. It will continue to be this company's saving grace: when it comes to morale and overlooking the slighted compensation received for the labor performed. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was working with the clients. They provided laughable stories and memories to share with teammates. Often, they truly appreciate your assistance and that gratitude was something I rarely experience with co-workers. Clients also taught me a lot about cooperating with people. The job however was very simple. By my second month, I could do the job with my eyes closed and found myself looking for another job. It was easy money in a big way, but management made the role unnecessarily stressful and cause to leav
The Organisation has got a lot of potential with the best manpower in the industry. Also, there is a lot to learn over here. Less of fun in the past three years due to growing competition in the market. One problem is that professionalism takes the front seat everywhere, even at places where it should not. Another is not the 'best-in-class' appraisals as it is not transparent. Too much of job pressure at the Quarter-ends. A typical day at work involves MIS generation and a lot of data handling, which implies long sitting hours, with usual breaks. I have learned time and skill management from the Organisation. The Management is mostly like other Organisations. Co-workers are not too much of fun, mostly are 32+ in age and we go out only once or twice in a month, The hardest part of the job is travelling to remote places in local buses and the number of touring days. The most enjoyable part is the amount of power we wield over the Dealer for performance.
ConsLong hours, working late night even on tours, less attention to yourself and family
Typical Day : Huge number of mails asking for data more related to projections. Status of monthly target achievement assessment. Review of monthly targets by boss in the morning over conference call. Follow up with team on various actionable areas and targets,
Learning : Strategies, tactical, stress management, channel management, team management, how to achieve targets
Management : Extremely dynamic and dedicated. Freedom to think and do differently. Lot of authority. Not open to negative feedback,
Workplace culture : Organization culture is supportive and promotes teamwork, innovative thinking, decision making, but it lot depends on how your immediate and super boss drives it. More of top driver and lesser suggestions from the field,
Hardest part of job : Appraisals of the team members
Enjoyable part of job : Field visits, meeting channel partners, Meeting customers, each day is engrossing and challenging
