(I) Customer Handling
Attain the queries from distributors & customers, depots and internal sales team. Customer Focused & proactive to provide best services to customer within certain cut-off time.
(II) Inventory Management & Control
Developing effective inventory management system & carrying out analysis for better inventory control.
Implementing inventory control measures to reduce obsolete stock keep a tab on slow moving items and achieve reduction in inventory management cost.
Ensure 100% Cycle count done at Month End, and
(III) Warehousing & Operations Management
Framing work direction plan and monitoring the operations of Warehousing Processes. Carrying out warehouse management of various SKU’s including operation budgeting, Planning & execution, Packaging solutions, space management, warehousing manuals etc.
(IV) Transportation & Vendor Management
Arranging Vehicle as per the Deployment Plan (West U.P & North Region of India) Identifying, negotiating and developing a dedicated vendor source for cost effective purchases and timely delivery of products. Assessing performance of the vendors based on percentage for rejections, quality of service, on-time delivery, credit terms, Contract negotiation etc.
(V) Order Picking
Finds and removes materials from stores. Typically, materials needed for a customer order are located, identified, ch

Hindustan Coca-cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. is an organisation which have so many systems in place to drive but in actual its a man driven organisation. All systems are driven by the leaders at unit level as they want. Some units have very dirty politics so not a good place for real talents / professionals. Safety professionals please think twice before join in coke its too many system in papers but in ground one person with various responsibilities for compliance, audit, meetings, reviews etc etc.
Very poor work life balance.
All the system requirement can be changed as per the unit head, if he wont want you then you are fired. Most of the unit heads are from the same organisation and grown from down level so "yes sir" "yes sir" are inbuilt in their blood. Professional and up front people working in this culture for long time is very difficult.
As the summary title suggests that Coke is an ocean of opportunities. I have in my 12 years of career with Coke have handled various responsibilities right from Integrated Marketing communications to key accounts sales manager, working in the field. I also got an opportunity to set up a separate sales vertical of Alternative engines of growth in Andhra Pradesh as part of KO strategy to build presence of new products and line of juices. The most enjoyable part also happens to be the hardest as every role envisages going through the grind and that gives the greatest satisfaction.
From working closely with the senior leadership team of the company, brand team to doing market in the scorching heat with my team mates in the field, the journey has been incredible.
Challenging & Driving every day sales, Delivering committed numbers
Day starts with planing Primary number for the day, Traveling & Meeting critical distributors, understand their issues. Prepare a summary on how MTD numbers can be delivered.
Discuss with Pre-Sellers & Market Developers on how secondary can be pushed more in market, what addition support they require to drive volume.
Forecasting coming weeks numbers which should be aligned with the business plan.
HCCBPL is a knowledge center for me. I meet personals from various sectors where i discuss how is the market response.
The challenging part is to coordinate with Finace Team & RTM Team on order clearance, need to ensure distributors payments are done on time.

At Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. working hours begin at 9 30 and extend till 6 - 6 30 in the evening. Feels good to be associated with a global brand name. The company has means to collect the minutest of details regarding sales from the market which is of great help to plan up the days ahead. Job requirements include making accurate plans for generating and improving business. Co-workers and subordinates support in all ways possible. Hardest part of the job is a travel time of 2 hours to work place. Considering the fact that I have been in the sales and marketing industry for over 4 years, I expect improved remuneration and perks which in turn would boost my productivity and work satisfaction.
HCCB working in three shift. Its a bottling plant at wada. Its very big company. Working team over their are experienced, task oriented and they are working in team.
Management over their is well educated having many years of experience in industry and fast decision makers.
Workers are cooperative and having good knowledge of where they are working.
As I was working over their as management trainee for two months, i had learn some of management skills use while working under project like decision making, team work, risk taking are few of them.
As I am management intern but they are involving me in every part of projects.

mould compensation exhaust valve was blocked and was not actuating. due to that "mould not locked" malfunction was coming. worked continuously for 24+ hours to identify and solve the problem.
I learnt MNC culture,like 5S, TPM, Housekeeping, SMED.
Very active and very supporting management. But, busy in cross cuttings.
My co-workers are very supportive & more competitive.

productive, fun but the pace of growth is really slow
A market developer is solely responsible for his market. He has to generate orders from retailers ,solve their issues regarding allotting new coolers or damaged cooler. and side by side he has to make stock pressure on retailer so that he does not moves towards whole-seller. He has to see that his territory should grow monthly and yearly on the basis of previous year and month base.
market developer is the main link between company and distributor as well as retailers . and to help some efforts are taken by telecallers .
what i have learned from this is how to make people convince, and also i have learned to take hard calls.
