work experience
i am working in jmc from last 3 months,i had a great experience till now, looking after two towers of 13 floors each along with my supervisor. a typical day at work was when i did not got time for sitting even for a minute other than lunch time, standing whole day for the raft casting, making it successful by passing it through client..i learned various things at site like cover blocks to be used at various places, looking at drawings, checking shuttering and side supports during casting.making bills for shuttering, labour and calculating quantity of concrete before pouring.hardest par of my job is time ,there is no time limit morning 8-8 is office timmings and may be after working for these many hours u got to work at nights too.the most enjoyable part of the job is exchanging words and gathering some knowledge from the G.M of client.
Plan Manager | New Delhi, Delhi | 2 Jul 2016
Every day brings the new things to overcome & learn.
The day starts with the quick 20 min brief meeting with area in-charges regarding last days work, today work & logistic coordination followed by daily planning & controls related works & site visits. Learned to identify the loose links which creates delays & cap those links. Had opportunity to work with some finest brains in Indian Construction Industry and learn from them. Hardest part is to bring behavioral change in the colleagues and made them believe the things are possible by changing the outlook towards it. The satisfaction derived after implementing the changes and achieving the targets with joint efforts of all colleague is the most enjoyable part.
ProsGreater Work satisfaction
ConsLess time for family

Good Place to work tagged for a construction industry
As being on the project site, it feels like a good place to work. The company provides all the necessary requirements to the employees. The only matters are how well your colleagues are along with you and most importantly your project in-charge I have been through Two project sites, where I found the employees are well and good but the project in-charge at one of the sites was too strict. Well though the construction company has all kinds of the same role in terms of this. The salary is on time and works assigned is well and good to take over. The only thing matters here is work time. But again is all same for a construction company, from 8am to 8 pm. But it is not for regional offices and head office.

Excellent organization for a fresh candidate
Management in JMC is quite supportive, which makes working enjoyable. I have worked for short tenure of only two years but it was difficult to take decision of quitting the organization. My job at JMC was relating to contracting the sub contractors as per requirement of job. JMC management believed in development of employees as per aptitude of candidate but before I would have been considered for field jobs I had to quit the job as I was married to an Engineer working at Sharjah.
ProsExcellent working conditions
ConsLong working hours.

ProsFree food and Accomodation
ConsHad to go site at Midnight if there is concreting at night.

Over all good organisation, and management Is well.
All type of facilities are available there in the company. In short I can say Jmc projects India ltd is a very good construction company. Food are free there in the company all the three times. Availability of transportation. In a month More than 2 leave are available in case of imergency . But working hours is too long some times not always. But I am very thankful to Jmc company where I learnt lots of the things in terms of construction.
Senior Assistant | Mumbai, Maharashtra | 30 Mar 2013
During my tenure in JMC, i got an opportunity to understand the importance and significance of Document Control as well as the Contract Administration. One thing which company should take care is the retention of its employee and treating them as an Asset to them. There is no parity in Company compensation terms w.r.t Qualification, Experience of the candidate.
Prosgood environment, amicable collegues & freedom to work
Conspoor appraisal system, lack of parity among peer group
