Work Life Balance
Lot of scope to learn as they expect you to know everything about the work. Work life balance. Huge cafeteria and coffee machines on every floor lobby with sitting area.
ProsLots of activity for employee on all the festival seasons, Work life balance, supportive teams, During appraisals bonus is paid from 10 to 30% depending on your ratings, Spacious work place and huge canteen (one complete floor), ATM and Bank facility inside the office, Salary on time and lots of leaves, Medi claim facility available for employee and immediate family members
ConsSalary is too low as per market, Appraisals are not as per the ratings even if you have received a good ratings, still it all depends on the management how much hike to be given, even if you have lots of leaves management wont allow you to take them, the people who work hard and sincerely have to work like donkeys, and the manager will always load them with all the work still lot more to say

Day's work typically starts at 10:00 a.m. in this office as I live a little away from my office I am allowed to come a little late. M y day at work begins by talking to my seniors about the developments made yesterday and what needs to be done to the jobs done. I learned that in order to be successful in life you should follow your own guts and never trust what others have to say about your job because other's will try to make you negative and often mislead you. and talking about co - workers we should always maintain a professional relationship with them. the hardest part of the job is getting policies as customers are very cautious in investment because they don't want to go beyond their known domain of investment. The most enjoyable part is the time flexibility of working.

• Handling Agency Partners payout related & team related queries countrywide via mails, calls and get them close within TAT.
• Preparing almost each day challenging analytical add-hoc MIS.
• Preparing various MIS as per business requirements daily, weekly, fortnightly & monthly.
• Handling promotional process of agents & calculating payout for agents & AP’s.
The best part of working with Kotak Life Insurance was they provided with lots of empowerment it was the part of my role in non-structured team I suppose to do lot of non-structural work like add-hoc MIS which was not prepared earlier and was suppose to do with applying logic & analytical skills.
Management was good and supportive.
Co-workers were also supportive & helpful.
There were stiff time-lines imposed on team members to which we I adapted and performed to perfection.
Very bad company
Primary responsibilities were Sales Management through Corporate, Business Development, Managing Banks Channel Management (Kotak Bank), Collection of Receivables & Team Management. Handling recruitment of Relationship Managers Team in the assigned territory. Ensuring maintenance of attrition ratio across the teams., Ensure team's incomes & incentives in location exceed benchmarks. Training to team on management/sales skills and career growth., Arrange/attend outdoor promotional events and seminars on recruitment, awareness, customer events, HNI priority etc. Ensure the desired product mix of the Branch, Deal with and escalate compliance issues, Business Generation is Through Corporate activity and Leads Assigned by HO.
Good to work but no definite carrier path
It is good opportunity for freshers to get a good salery but no clear carrier path, I am going through a lot of troubles due to having major experience in Life insurance industry.the experience is not valied or taken into consideration by any other industry! products are realy hard to sell .although there is not a huge pressure of sales.You can enter easily but can not switch industry after one or two years of experience. You either will have to compromise on salery or start everything from the beginning. Convincing life advisors to work on field ,do cold calls and cloise sales on commission bases is also a though job,

Overall Experience is very good. Managing Front Office / Reception/ Housekeeping /Security/Courier services/Vendors. Maintaining Registers & Reports. Budgeting and working for cost reduction/saving. Printing & Purchase of Stationeries. Repairs and upkeep of branch infrastructure (AC, DG, telephone lines), Engineering Services (AC, UPS Electricity etc.). Arranging all the required items for routine operations. Managing On time Vendor Payment Process. Ensuring AMC's and contract copies are maintained at branch. Travel & stay Co-ordination with Centralized Travel desk. Co-ordination with HR for Onboarding of New Joiners. Partner Coding, Document verification of Partners.
Am happy to share with you. Such a wonderfull company and managemnt also very good. Every on can learn more and more new things and knowledge . And my job role : Collection of premium Cash and Cheques transactions through WEB receipting
Generating and Reconcile of day closing reports and Banking for Cash/Cheques.
Holding the responsibility for Cash / Cheque report filling and record maintenance for Audit.
Proficiency with Ms-office, good Typing, and knowledge of data conversion processes are some of aspects, which would help me in performing my duties with a high rate of efficiency

Working culture and zonal head and hr are really fantastic people to work with and very supportive to grow and develop your career in terms of career growth as well as financial growth. But right boss will give good growth.

The day start with a commitments and end with the targets you achieved.
I learnt here how to deal with different stake of people in different situation. And secondly how to talk to a strangers and get comfortable with them.
The hardest part of the day use to be when you have committed a target on the basics of your recruited advisers and it dose't get fulfilled and you have to answer that.
