Worst Place to Work for IT dept people and IT / IT infrastructure people
No learning Environment, No growth No permanent payroll. No salary. NO RAW
Coming to work profile in SAP labs India, they have only Desktop support Engineers, No network engineers or system admins.
For Desktop support Engineers the work is only to do inventory, They hardly get troubleshooting shooting issues(Only for PC hardware). They wont handle any network issues or servers issues. all are remotely maintained by German people in remote location.
There is no learning environment, U won't even learn how to configure outlook or install software.
Everything is auto configured. Worst place for IT dept people.
No Respect for IT dept people here. other users will treat us like an office boys. Because we are least paid in the company.
Office boys who cleans the office gets more pay then us.
The IT managers are really worst here.
SAP labs India IT dept employees are outsourced to Inknowtech consultant, This consultancy is no.1 fraud.
they pay 7000 INR per month for freshers and for people who has experience of 3.5 yrs they hardly pay 13,500 pm.
The notice period here is 2 months, so its very difficult to join other company if u get offer.
WORST place to work for IT dept

As part of cost saving process I was on board by SAP Program Manager as Project Manager for Uttam Galva Steels Application Maintenance Project. AMS Project was 9 Hours agreed as per contractual terms, but I explored the opportunity by working for 24/7 Model SAP India had huge business potential with Uttam Galva Steels such as SAP APO Phase II Implementation. SAP India have won the deal of SAP APO Phase II by competing with large MNC's. I had the opportunity to be Project Manager even though I was hired as Project Coordinator and handled 14 Different SAP Solutions such as APO PPDS, PI, PP, VC, FICO, Treasury, Fund Management, BI, MM, SD, HCM, BASIS, ABAP, PM & QM. Toughest part of the job is managing the Customer with Manufacturing Back Ground, as Uttam Galva in 24 Hours Manufacturing Unit. If any part of SAP Solution such as APO PPDS, PI, PP, VC, PM, BASIS & QM is affected the entire Production Cycle of stopped. This affects Customers Business and Profitability, hence my team was working Heads-up to ensure the Implementation is stabilized.

Amazing professional atmosphere that emphasizes developing valuable skills
Each day started at 8am with bright greetings from my co workers and management. I would log onto Outlook and check all emails and phone calls received over night. From there I could plan my day with a checklist of all required actions. While I was training, throughout the day my manager would sit with me making sure I learned the necessary tools I needed to succeed. I would review dispute cases, orders received and various questions from a number of departments. I would review new contracts, book the deals, add the documents to our virtual library as well as organize the hard copy binder.
Along with the above, as a Sales Support Specialist I would spend each day communicating with partners and our sales team. I was the first line of communication to our partners and responsible for resolving day to day issues regarding purchases, implementation, and customer service. I would continuously update our tracking system and provided summaries to our entire team. As the last person before the booking process I handled quality assurance for each BusinessOne order placed through our online store.
Through these jobs I learned to how to stay organized, be detailed oriented and how to balance multiple task at once. Also I gained insight to the entire sales cycle from pre-sales to the final booking and archiving.
Management and co-workers could not have been better. They made sure to always have time for me and answered all of my questions with pleasure. I can not say enough good thin

Great interactive, highly motivated productive workforce
A typical day at work is when everyone works collaboratively and communicate clearly the day's objectives to ensure everyone is clear what to do, to avoid time wasting and reworks or waiting. Any achievement needs to be acknowledged to keep teams motivated. Timeous management planning and support is needed to ensure every activity stay on scheduled. The day would be fantastic if the the desied target is met and dually acknowledged and everyone thanked for their effort.
I have learnt that team work, and clear communication and well planned are work is key to the attainment of any set target.
A good work culture is not only for motivation, but also helps in the reduction of absenteeism and labour turnover which could be detriment to the overall attainment of goals and spiral of costs as skills, experience gained, team cohesion and learning curve is lost.
The hardest part of any job coming up with wokable/attainable target (smart), diagonasing where erros, dealing complex breakdowns, failed targets and hadling incidents that result in fatalities.
The enjoysable part of the job is when targets are meet, easy to analyse, tracking performance is real tme, staff is happy and obviously well remunurated for their efforts.
ProsAttaintment of targets, easy diagonistics, analytical tools, highly motivated, pinpointing where error is, reduction of down time, increased productive, retaention of staff and achieving teams. less down time and contol of costs
Consnegative side of a bad work culture is unproductive staff, failimg tagets, losses. upsetting of customer, spiralling of costs, loss of team spirit and cohession, high abseenteism and loss of markets as customer boycot products, poor quality of work, etc

Good work environment, but managment lacking in professionalism
I was apart of the HR department, mainly assisting with the Permanent Residency Recruitment process. The goal was to prove to the Department of Labor that we were not displacing any U.S. workers for positions held by visa dependent employees. First, we posted the job on various websites and newspaper ads, candidates would apply, and I would review each application to determine if their qualifications met the requirements. If so, I would conduct initial phone interviews, and if their qualifications remained strong, I would then schedule a second phone interview with the hiring manager so they could delve deeper into their experience and skills.
The work in itself was slightly challenging only because this was a different type of recruitment, and after I had tracked and updated all the necessary information, our legal team had to review everything until they submitted the files to DOL (Department of Labor). The legal team would thoroughly review the files and if anything was deemed questionable or needed to be revisited I was responsible for going back and making sure everything was 100% perfect. Overall, I did like the people I worked with, I just felt that management was unprofessional, and were disorganized themselves, which made my ability to do my job a little more challenging. I was grateful for the experience, but in the end the role just wasn't a good fit for me, or my future goals.
ProsNice people, lots of food options for lunch, good work/life balance
ConsSmall company=more scrutinizing of employees, unprofessional managment, Recently acquired by SAP so system processes were all over the place

Good, not great
I've been at SAP for 5 years and have truly enjoyed my time here. The work is challenging and fast-paced. I've grown and developed my skillset while tackling truly unique problems. I worked with an excellent team whom I've become friends with outside of work. The company culture is great with a fantastic flex work policy, leading you to feel like, in a lot ways, SAP cares.
But for all the good things at SAP, it is by far not a perfect company. Career progression is slow, if happens at all - in my 5 years, I've only been promoted once and many quit to pursue actual advances in their career elsewhere. This results in a terrible retention of talent. In that sense, SAP is a great place to gain experience, but not to build a career.
Management lacks vision, purpose, and experience; with my direct manager being passive, ineffective, and detached. She doesn't understand what I do, is slow to recognize good work, and has no idea how to help me or my team advance. I don't understand how she remains in her position and I often feel 'stuck' working under her.
The pay is good but not great, and your salary increases are bad. I've heard leadership, both direct and from the board, say the reward of SAP comes from its company culture and the variety of work available. But that just means you end up making choices and stressing out about things that are way above your pay grade.
I don't think I'll last much longer here, so I'll be exploring options outside of the company soon. But in
