Job Title: Ophthalmic Assistant
Location:
Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), Assam
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist in patient intake, including gathering medical history and conducting preliminary vision tests.
- Diagnostic Support: Perform basic ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity assessments, tonometry, and refraction.
- Equipment Handling: Ensure proper use and maintenance of ophthalmic equipment and instruments.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on eye care, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures and tests performed.
- Assistance in Procedures: Support ophthalmologists during examinations and minor surgical procedures.
- Community Outreach: Participate in community health education programs to promote eye health awareness.
- Coordination: Work collaboratively with the MMU team to ensure effective service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or certification in ophthalmic assistance or a related field.
- Experience: Freshers as well as experienced candidates can apply
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.
Work Environment:
- Mobile settings, requiring adaptability to different locations and patient demographics.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
