The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our IT team as a Jr. Desktop Support Engineer. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems, hardware, software, and peripheral devices function efficiently.
The Responsibilities:

Provide Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other devices.

Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware peripherals.

User Assistance: Respond to user inquiries and provide support via phone, email, or in-person to resolve technical issues promptly.

System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and patch management.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and hardware/software inventories.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, software updates, and industry best practices.

The Desired Attributes:

Experience: 1+ year experience working experience as a Desk Top Support Engineer or recent graduate of similar studies.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications.

Soft Skills: Strong English communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

Certifications (Optional): CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to develop technical skills and stay updated with the latest technology trends.
