We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Product Designer with strong fundamentals in furniture. The candidate should be capable of developing furniture concepts from sketch to production-ready technical drawings and prototypes.
This role requires practical understanding — not just visual design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop furniture products from concept to production
- Create 3D models using SolidWorks, Rhino etc
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for manufacturing
- Apply knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and material selection
- Work closely with production teams to ensure feasibility and quality
- Develop prototypes and refine designs based on testing and feedback
- Maintain documentation of design process and specifications
Required Skills
- Strong furniture design and carpentry fundamentals
- Proficiency in SolidWorks /Blender/ Keyshot and Rhino (3D modelling)
- Ability to create clear and accurate technical drawings
- Basic sketching and concept visualization skills
- Understanding of production processes and manufacturing constraints
