Responsibilities:
Customer Service:Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
Ensure an outstanding shopping experience for all customers.
Sales and Product Knowledge:Demonstrate a strong understanding of the products and services offered in the store.
Promote and upsell products to meet or exceed sales targets.
Keep up-to-date with product features, benefits, and trends.
Inventory Management:Assist with receiving and organizing new merchandise shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks.
Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
Visual Merchandising:Arrange displays and maintain a visually appealing store layout.
Ensure products are properly showcased to attract customer attention.
Cash Handling:Process customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods securely.
Store Maintenance:Keep the store clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other store associates to achieve store goals.
Assist in training new team members and providing guidance as needed.
Compliance:Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Administrative Tasks:Assist with record-keeping, including sales reports and inventory logs.
Help manage customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
