CCTV & Access Control Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CCTV and Access Control Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot surveillance and access control systems. The candidate should have experience with IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, biometric systems, door access controllers, and structured cabling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and video management systems.
- Install and maintain access control systems, biometric devices, card readers, and door controllers.
- Perform network configuration for IP-based security devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
- Run and terminate network cables, CAT6/CAT6A cabling, and fiber optic connections when required.
- Prepare installation reports, documentation, and service records.
- Coordinate with clients and vendors for project implementation and support.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVR/DVR configuration.
- Experience with access control systems, biometrics, and attendance systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE, switches, routers).
- Knowledge of structured cabling and rack installation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Networking, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in CCTV and access control installation and support.
- Experience with security brands such as HID Global, Verkada, Honeywell, Hikvision, and Dahua Technology is an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
