Full Stack PHP Developer (Frontend/UI Focus – React)

We are seeking a Frontend-focused Full Stack PHP Developer with strong expertise in modern UI development, particularly React.js, to build intuitive, high-performance web applications. This role places primary emphasis on crafting exceptional user experiences while maintaining effective integration with backend services.
You will work closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver responsive, scalable, and visually polished applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and product requirements into high-quality, reusable front-end components
- Build and maintain scalable front-end architecture, including state management and component design
- Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs developed in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and consistent user experience
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented front-end code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving UI/UX standards and frontend architecture
- Troubleshoot and debug UI issues across devices and browsers
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment workflows
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in web development with a strong focus on front-end/UI
- Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles
- Experience with front-end tooling such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of PHP and at least one framework (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
- Experience with Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong attention to UI detail and user experience design
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern front-end ecosystems:
- State management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- Component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Experience optimizing front-end performance (lazy loading, code splitting, memoization)
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG standards) and SEO best practices
- Experience working with design systems and reusable UI component libraries
- Exposure to animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)
Backend (Supporting Expectations)
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in PHP for API integration and minor backend contributions
- Understanding of RESTful services and data flow between front-end and backend systems
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL or similar) is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
