We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Professor in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Forensic Science to lead teaching, research, and academic development initiatives within the department. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in their respective discipline, demonstrate excellence in teaching, and contribute significantly to scientific research, publications, innovation, and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Forensic Science.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum in accordance with regulatory, academic, and industry standards.
- Guide and supervise student research projects, dissertations, theses, and doctoral research.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed national and international journals.
- Secure research grants and collaborate with research institutions, government agencies, laboratories, healthcare organizations, forensic agencies, and industry partners.
- Mentor students, research scholars, and junior faculty members.
- Participate in academic committees, faculty meetings, accreditation activities, and institutional development initiatives.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, training programs, laboratory demonstrations, and scientific outreach activities.
- Contribute to scientific innovation, community engagement, technology transfer, and knowledge dissemination initiatives.
- Support the development of industry-academia partnerships and interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Master’s Degree in the relevant field with an excellent academic record from a recognized institution.
- Qualifications and experience as per UGC and other applicable regulatory norms.
Experience:
- Minimum 10–15 years of teaching and research experience in higher education institutions, research laboratories, or relevant industry sectors.
- Proven record of research publications in reputed and indexed journals.
- Experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars and leading funded research projects.
- Administrative and academic leadership experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
- Experience in laboratory management, scientific consultancy, industrial research, forensic investigations, or biotechnology/microbiology applications is desirable.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and institutional norms.
