About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and production support. This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Build, manage, and support CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Automate operational processes using Bash scripting and DevOps best practices.
- Administer Linux/Unix servers, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Nginx web servers and related services.
- Manage MongoDB environments, including deployment, monitoring, backup, and performance tuning.
- Monitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure utilization.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and business teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain cloud security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Support production systems, including occasional weekend and late-night maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure automation and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
- Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Bash/Shell scripting skills.
- Solid Linux/Unix system administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Nginx configuration and administration.
- Experience managing MongoDB databases in production environments.
- Good understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting cloud-native applications.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, automation frameworks, and deployment strategies.
