This role will be responsible for building highly reliable, compliant, and scalable onboarding capabilities that power retail acquisition journeys across channels (mobile, web, branch, partners). The person will work at the intersection of business, technology, compliance, and operations, driving platform modernization, regulatory readiness, and superior customer experience while enabling rapid product innovation.

- Enabling technical initiatives in the consumer banking space for Retail Onboarding related functionalities
- Enablement of existing business, enhancement of customer experience with proper control on fraud and risks.
- Complete responsibility for driving the entire cycle of development and management of Risk platform, Customer Journey enhancements and ancillary product launches.
- Responsible for handling all audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements pertaining to platform

Onboarding & CASA Capabilities
- Build and optimize digital onboarding flows covering:
- Savings / Salary / Zero balance accounts
- Assisted & unassisted journeys
- Re-KYC, CKYC fetch, document management
- Own CASA lifecycle components such as:
- Account activation & funding
- Status tracking & customer communication
- Exception handling & drop-off recovery
Platform & Technology Leadership
- Partner with engineering to design scalable, resilient, and reusable platform services.
- Drive adoption of event-driven architectures, APIs, and microservices.
- Ensure high availability, low latency, and strong observability (SLAs, SLOs, alerts).
Regulatory & Risk Alignment
- Ensure compliance with RBI, AML, KYC, CKYC, FATCA, CRS, and internal risk policies.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to embed controls by design.
- Own audits, regulatory changes, and platform readiness for new guidelines.
Stakeholder & Program Management
- Collaborate with Retail Banking, Digital Channels, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Partner teams.
- Act as the single-threaded owner for platform delivery, dependencies, and prioritization.
- Manage multiple workstreams and releases in an agile environment..Required Experience
6 to 8 years of experience post Bachelor degree with a proven track record in the financial services and/or banks, preferably in banking, fintech, or regulated financial services.
Strong experience in Savings Account onboarding, CASA products, or customer acquisition platforms.
Experience with API-based platforms, microservices, and workflow orchestration.
Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and regulatory dependencies.
