About the Position
As the Senior Learning and Development Specialist based out of our Pune office, you will join our Performance & Culture (P&C) team and have responsibility for driving some of our latest value creation programs such as High-Potential Entry Level (HPEL) bootcamps. This position is involved in designing and implementing various training programs from scratch across the globe including training on presentation skills and delivery, leadership training, and manager essentials. These training programs are intended to nurture, develop and grow talent at scale to support business growth objectives.
This individual will report into the VP, Global Employee Experience and will work closely with our global P&C team, regional leaders (as required), and collaborate closely with our Head of Learning. In this role, you will oversee the training programs from start to finish whilst driving ongoing improvements to meet the required business goals. This role will not only support entry-level programs and training opportunities but also contribute to our company’s success by ensuring our employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their current roles and future career path within Energy Exemplar!
Key Accountabilities and Duties
- Design, develop and deliver training programs for High Potential Entry Level individuals
- Developing engaging training material and including workshops, e-learning, and interactive sessions (or recommended media)
- Work with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless delivery of training programs
- Upskill current employees by providing internal training on various topics, such as creating engaging presentations, presenting to executive decision-makers and leadership trainings
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs through feedback, assessments, performance metrics, and make necessary continuous improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the business
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop relevant and accurate training content
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development and make recommendations for improvements
- Involvement in re-vamping the existing on-boarding process
- Support the Performance & Culture team with change management and strategic initiatives
- Deliver trainings across various time zones, as needed, to accommodate our global work environment
- Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
Candidate Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years+ experience in learning and development, with a focus driving entry level training programs
- Experience of designing and creating new training material through multiple different sources
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
- Strong collaboration skills amongst stakeholders to ensure trainings are fulfilling the required needs and delivering positive results
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must have experience operating as an internal trainer across all functions of the business (ideally in a global organization)
- Adept at influencing others, problem solving and offering pragmatic solutions
- Experience working within a corporate SaaS or Technology environment preferred
Qualifications:
- A degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
