*Role Overview:*
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer to drive our business growth in the Middle East, with a primary focus on the UAE market. This role will be based in India, operating from our back office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting our energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Middle East market, particularly in the UAE.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and present proposals, technical presentations, and solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline, and sales performance.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the energy sector, preferably in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or sustainability.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the Middle East energy market, particularly the UAE.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to the Middle East as required.
