We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpentry Machinist Trainee to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of carpentry, woodworking machinery, and furniture production processes. This role provides hands-on training in operating advanced woodworking equipment and developing technical skills required for modern furniture manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist in the operation of woodworking machinery such as Panel Saw, Planers, CNC Boring Machines, Through Feed Edge Banding Machines, and Routers.
- Read and interpret production drawings, cutting lists, and basic blueprints.
- Understand the properties and applications of materials such as Plywood, MDF, Particle Board, and Solid Wood.
- Perform cutting, drilling, shaping, edging, and finishing operations as per production requirements.
- Learn various joinery techniques and woodworking methods used in furniture manufacturing.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and cleaning of machinery and tools.
- Follow workplace safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Assist senior machinists and production supervisors in daily manufacturing activities.
Requirements:
- ITI / Vocational Training / Diploma in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, woodworking machinery, and material measurements.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and production instructions.
- Willingness to learn and work in a factory production environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and teamwork skills.
Training Areas:
- Blueprint and production drawing interpretation.
- Machine setup and operation.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
