This is a 2nd level technical support role (application engineering) to design-in Infineon’s solutions. Good knowledge of payment applications (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover,) and related system competence (card production, key management, personalization) are essential
In your new role you will:
- Worldwide technical support for FAEs (1st level) and customers on Infineon Payment solutions before, during and after design-in WSystem integration support (e.g. card production, key management, personalization) for Infineon Payment solutions Systematic information flow and knowledge transfer to FAEs/customer on news about products, tools, specifications and documentation (e.g. versions, updates, release dates) .
- Customer on-site support together with FAEs for technical trainings and workshops .
- Creation of prototypes, application notes and examples in the area of Payment solutions.
- Collect and understand customer needs to generate and maintain technical support material (e.g. documentation, application notes) for easy usage and integration to existing or new systems .
- Creation and maintenance of professional technical training material and presentations .
- Check, test and release new tools and technical support material with respect to customer requirements .
- Define product configurations for manufacturing according to customer and project needs .
- Configure & test sample cards for partners and customers
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
• At least 5-8 years of
Smartcard related experience is mandatory • Experience on
JavaCard and GlobalPlatform standards, applet development and applet code debugging are mandatory. • Experience on EMV applications are mandatory
- Knowledge of related technologies and standards – ISO 7816/14443/EMV
• Knowledge of tool chains and equipment used in developing of smartcard applications, card production and personalization is required • Knowledge of EMVCo and Transportation applications
- Knowledge of secure coding principles is preferable.
- Good interpersonal skills and well versed in English language both written and spoken
• Good analytical and problem solving skills • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
