Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations, vendor management, inventory control, and supply chain activities. The candidate should have strong experience in the Plastic and/or FRP industry, with a proven track record of cost optimization, vendor development, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement planning and purchasing activities to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Manage the complete purchase cycle, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, order placement, and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Identify and onboard new vendors to improve quality, pricing, and supply reliability.
- Drive cost control initiatives and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Manage delivery schedules, logistics coordination, and supplier performance.
- Lead and mentor the purchase team to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure timely documentation, reporting, MIS preparation, and purchase records maintenance.
- Coordinate closely with Management, Production, Sales, Stores, and Vendors for smooth operations.
- Stay updated on market trends, raw material pricing, and industry developments.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience in Purchase and Procurement Management.
- Strong knowledge of Procurement Planning, Vendor Management, Inventory Control, and Cost Reduction.
- Experience in Plastic Manufacturing and/or FRP Industry preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple vendors and large-scale procurement activities
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
