Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the financial accounts of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business planning and decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide management with reports on financial performance, trends, and variances.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements, including GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company's financial practices are current and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA (Chartered Accountant) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software Tally and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
