The Problem You Will Solve
On a running MEP project, one delayed material or one wrong procurement can push the entire schedule back by weeks. We need someone who ensures that never happens.
You will manage procurement of HVAC and Fire Fighting materials end to end — sourcing vendors, negotiating prices, raising POs, and making sure the right material reaches site at the right time, every time.
Your Day-to-Day
- Float enquiries and get competitive quotes from multiple vendors
- Build and maintain comparative statements for every major purchase
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Raise accurate Purchase Orders aligned to project BOQ
- Track all orders and coordinate with vendors on delivery timelines
- Work closely with site engineers to plan material requirements in advance
- Resolve delivery delays and material shortages without escalation
- Ensure materials received at site match specification — no wrong procurement
- Maintain clean records: POs, invoices, challans, and vendor communications
- Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and credit management
What We Are Looking For
- 2–5 years in purchase / procurement in MEP, construction, or infrastructure
- Hands-on knowledge of HVAC and Fire Fighting materials
- Strong vendor network in Gujarat — you know who to call for what
- Experience preparing comparative statements and negotiating vendor rates
- Organized, proactive, and zero tolerance for follow-up gaps
