Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to manage the planning, execution, testing, commissioning, quality, and safety aspects of 33kV overhead line projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and utilities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and supporting project completion within schedule and quality requirements.
Candidate Qualifications
Education
* B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
* Additional certifications in Electrical Safety, QA/QC, or Project Management will be preferred.
Experience
* 3–8 years of experience in transmission and distribution (T&D) projects.
* Hands-on experience in 11kV/33kV overhead line construction, testing, and commissioning.
* Experience working with DISCOMs, utility companies, EPC contractors, or infrastructure projects.
Required Technical Skills
* Route survey and line design understanding.
* Pole/tower erection and conductor stringing supervision.
* Installation of:
- Insulators
- AB Switches
- CT/PTs
- Lightning Arresters
- Earthing Systems
* Testing and commissioning of 33kV lines.
* Knowledge of insulation resistance, continuity, earthing resistance, and phase sequence testing.
* Understanding of electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
* Familiarity with Indian Electricity Rules, IS Standards, and utility regulations.
* Documentation, measurement sheets, and billing support.

* Experience coordinating with DISCOMs for energization and approvals.
* Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
* Experience in EPC project execution.
* Ability to prepare DPRs, progress reports, and commissioning reports.
