Job Overview: Alpha Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified Hindi Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a strong foundation in Hindi language skills & instilling an appreciation for Hindi literature, and understanding among students.
Responsibilities: Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with the school's Hindi curriculum.
- Integrate language activities, cultural studies, and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.
Language Instruction:
- Facilitate interactive and dynamic Hindi language classes to improve students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Incorporate creative and interactive teaching methods to make language learning enjoyable.
Literature Appreciation:
- Introduce students to a variety of Hindi literary works, including poetry, prose, and drama.
- Foster a love for Hindi literature by organizing literary events, storytelling sessions, or book clubs.
Student Assessment:
- Administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate students' language proficiency and comprehension.
- Provide constructive feedback on written and spoken Hindi, encouraging continuous improvement.
Student Engagement:
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
- Organize cultural activities, celebrations, or language-based competitions to enhance students' interest in Hindi.
Parent Communication:
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development in Hindi.
- Collaborate with parents to support students' language skills outside the classroom.
