Deputy Manager – Certification

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Deputy Manager – Certification to lead and oversee organic certification processes for farmer groups. The role involves maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with organic standards, supervising inspections, and coordinating with certification bodies and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain ICS documentation including policies, SOPs, checklists, and farmer records.
- Develop and implement farmer group certification systems in line with organic standards (e.g., NPOP, NOP).
- Conduct risk assessments and lead annual internal inspections of farmers.
- Provide training to farmers on organic standards, record keeping, and compliance requirements.
- Collect and compile data in IASR format from field staff for preparing farmers’ reports.
- Prepare and organize documentation for ICS group registrations.
- Handle registration of ICS groups on Tracenet portal through Certification Bodies (CB).
- Coordinate effectively with Certification Bodies for compliance and approvals.
- Supervise and audit performance of internal and external inspections and field teams.
- Manage and review reports from field coordinators and data entry operators.
- Review inspection reports for quality assurance and accuracy.
- Coordinate with MSOM & MOVCDNER for progress updates and audits related to ICS.
- Manage trace net entries such as internal inspections, crop sowing, harvesting, and lot creation.
- Analyze audit findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Generate and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports.
- Maintain and share updates on Transaction Certificate (TC) supply details.
- Coordinate and consult with Mr. Vijay Sharma, MOFL regarding TC arrangements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Organic Certification, or related field.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in organic certification or ICS management.
- Strong understanding of NPOP/NOP standards and certification procedures.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Tracenet portal operations.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication abilities.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
