Job Description:
Summerhill Technologies Pvt. Ltd.is seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing medium-sized web applications using Laravel and React frameworks. This is an on-site position located in our Head office - Khalini, Shimla - 171002, Himachal Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Laravel and React.
- Database management: Design, develop, and maintain relational database management systems (RDBMS) ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Version control: Utilize Git for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and code management within the development team.
- Code quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Testing and debugging: Conduct thorough testing of web applications to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference and development.
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our web development practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in web development.
- Frameworks: Proficient in Laravel and React frameworks.
- Database Management: Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control.
- Frontend and Backend Development: Experience with both frontend (React) and backend (Laravel) development.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
