Responsibilities
Independently be able to handle mold shop production.
Need to have leadership qualities to be able to handle a team of 10 to 15 members.
Manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
Be able to adapt and follow SOPs related to mold manufacturing.
Be able to effectively train new employees(operator, fitters, & polisher).
Be able to follow an effective production plan schedule.
Effective communication with suppliers.
Creating product documentation and records.
Be able to create production reports for their managers.
Be able to verify and check quality tolerance standards and report the same.
Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
Responsible to handle mold movement, loading and offloading of raw material to semi finish material to finish goods material.
Resolve issues and delays in production.
Work closely with receiving, receiving inspection, supplier quality engineer & quality assurance in purging suspect/non-conforming material from inventory and throughout the organization.
Requirements and skills
In depth knowledge of mold manufacturing process.
Has hands on past experience in mechanical overhauling of mold manufacturing.
Knowledge of Zig/Fixtures development for CNC / VMC / Drilling machine.
Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer/supervisor or similar role.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool design.
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, POWERMILL, CIMCO Edit, MS Office).
Problem-solving ability.
Teamwork skills.
Ability to occasionally work late shifts.
Degree / Diploma in Engineering.
