Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Android Developer to join our team on a part-time basis to contribute to the ongoing development and upcoming launch of Newsreels on the Google Play Store. The successful candidate will be responsible for debugging and refining the existing codebase, integrating APIs, and expanding app functionality with new pages.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand our extensive existing codebase to resolve bugs in various modules.
- Work closely with our development team to integrate new features and APIs.
- Help prepare and execute the deployment of the app to the Google Play Store.
- Tackle the technical challenges typical of dynamic social media applications.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in Android development with solid knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with, HLS video streaming, caching techniques, Firebase, and One-Signal.
- Ability to commit 2-3 hours daily, totaling 15-20 hours weekly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously.
