Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fiber Network Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for supporting FTTH and enterprise fiber networks, ensuring optimal network performance, service reliability, and timely resolution of fiber-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic network infrastructure.
- Perform fiber cable laying, splicing, termination, and testing activities.
- Conduct OTDR testing, power measurements, and fault localization.
- Support FTTH, GPON, and enterprise fiber network deployments.
- Monitor network performance and resolve fiber-related outages.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare network deployment plans.
- Coordinate with field teams, NOC, and contractors for project execution.
- Maintain network documentation, fiber route maps, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Support network expansion and upgrade projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in ISP, Telecom, or Fiber Network Operations.
- Strong knowledge of Fiber Optics, FTTH, GPON, OSP, and ISP network infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, OTDR, Power Meter, and fusion splicing equipment.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing, and Switching concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GPON technologies and OLT/ONT configuration.
- Knowledge of network documentation and fiber route management.
- Ability to manage field activities and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Valid driving license preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
