Purpose of the RoleAs the Director of Sales at Alepo, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and market expansion in the telecommunications industry. This senior position is ideal for a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in the telecom sector, particularly in selling advanced software solutions and services.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to capitalize on next-generation Gen AI transformation opportunities for telecom companies in the LATAM region. The focus of this role is to drive new leads, grow the pipeline, and close sales for our BSS, network applications, and Generative AI portfolio in the telecom industry to position Alepo as the go-to provider of transformative telecom solutions.
Skill Set:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Industry Experience
10+ years of experience in senior sales, marketing, or business development roles.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ability to create a qualified pipeline of new logo opportunities.
- Diligently execute a well-defined sales process such as MEDDICC.
- Committed and consistent in delivering quarterly targets.
- Accurately maintain, track, forecast, and report opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with major telecom operators, enhancing Alepo’s position in the competitive landscape.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales approaches accordingly.
Must Have
- Diverse industry sales experience across Telecom, Banking, and Industrial sectors.
- Expertise in selling SaaS and cloud solutions.
- Strong background in Digital Transformation, Customer Experience (CX) solutions, and CCaaS.
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding an annual quota of at least 3M USD.
- Proven ability to close high-value deals in the telecommunications or enterprise software sector.
- Demonstrated success in direct sales to major regional telecom operators or experience selling through system integration (SI) partners within the past few years.
Good to Have
- Prior experience in the telecommunications industry and software sector.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the telecom sector, such as 5G, IoT, or cloud-native architectures.
- Experience in selling AI-based solutions.
