Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator – 5 Axis to join our advanced manufacturing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating 5-Axis machining centers and machining complex aerospace and defence components with a strong focus on quality, precision, and productivity.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-precision aerospace structural and engine components in a technologically advanced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor 5-Axis CNC machining centers for precision manufacturing.
- Machine complex aerospace structural and engine components as per engineering requirements.
- Verify machine setups, fixtures, cutting tools, and machining programs before production.
- Perform first-off inspections and process validation activities.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Coordinate closely with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure product conformity.
- Maintain production efficiency while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace organization through 5S practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience operating 5-Axis CNC Milling Machines.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as Verniers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, and Height Gauges.
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of fixture validation, tooling verification, and machining process controls.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
