Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support through phone, email, and remote troubleshooting sessions.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity, and configuration issues related to Wi-Fi Routers, Access Points (APs), Switches, Gateways, OLTs, and ONTs.
- Assist customers with device configuration, VLAN setup, Wi-Fi optimization, and EPON/GPON service provisioning.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support, network administration, field engineering, or a similar role involving networking products.
- Certifications (Highly Desired): Cisco CCNA
Required Technical Skills
Wireless Networking
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, including Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7.
- Knowledge of RF fundamentals, including 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands.
- Understanding of roaming technologies and wireless security protocols such as WPA2 and WPA3.
Wired Networking & Switching
- Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
- Strong knowledge of VLANs, STP/RSTP, Link Aggregation (LACP), DHCP, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- Understanding of network segmentation, traffic management, and security best practices.
FTTH / Telecom (Critical)
- Solid understanding of GPON and EPON technologies.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of OLT configuration and ONT/ONU provisioning.
- Familiarity with FTTH deployment, optical power measurement, and fiber troubleshooting.
Protocols & Tools
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of DNS, NAT, DHCP, Routing, Switching, and IP Subnetting.
- Experience using network diagnostic tools such as Ping, Traceroute, and IP scanners.
- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot network-related issues efficiently.
Pay: ₹10,819.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
