Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the organization's day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all accounting records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting statutory compliance, managing receivables and payables, and assisting management with financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting entries.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices, bills, payment requests, and supporting documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up with clients and vendors to ensure timely settlements.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and financial records.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, expense summaries, reconciliation reports, and other management reports as required.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and deadlines.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial data.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing, procurement, project expenses, and financial documentation.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, cost monitoring, and financial analysis activities.
- Utilize accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, and related financial systems efficiently.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, taxation regulations, and software enhancements.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and established accounting procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
