The Manager of Operations (Food & Beverages) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing daily operations across Gourmestan’s food and beverage outlets. This role manages front-of-house and back-of-house workflows, including staff scheduling, shift supervision, inventory control, and vendor coordination. The manager ensures adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, maintains consistent product quality, and implements operational best practices to improve service efficiency. Responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, managing budgets, optimizing costs, and preparing operational reports for leadership. The role also involves training and mentoring team members, handling guest feedback, supporting new menu launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience aligned with the brand’s values.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food and beverage operations management within restaurants, cafés, or cloud kitchens, preferably in premium or artisanal concepts.
Strong skills in team leadership, staff training, performance management, and creating an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
Solid understanding of inventory management, procurement, cost control, and basic budgeting or P&L monitoring.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance with local health regulations in Dubai.
Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to address guest feedback professionally.
Ability to plan and execute operational processes, streamline workflows, and implement standard operating procedures across multiple units.
Comfort with using POS systems, basic reporting tools, and operational software for scheduling, inventory, and analytics.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working in or managing gluten-free, health-focused, or specialty food concepts is an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak service periods, as required by business needs.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
