Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute the school’s long-term technology strategy and budget.
- Lead, train, and evaluate the IT support team and technicians.
- Manage vendor relationships for software, hardware, and internet services. [1, 2, 3, 4]
2. Infrastructure & Hardware Maintenance
- Oversee the school's core IT infrastructure, including servers, Wi-Fi networks, CCTV, and smart classrooms.
- Manage the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle of school-wide assets (staff laptops, student tablets, and lab computers). [1, 2, 3, 4]
3. Educational Technology & Support
- Collaborate with educators to identify and integrate digital tools that enhance student learning.
- Coordinate the helpdesk ticketing system to provide rapid, on-site technical support for teachers, administrators, and students.
- Conduct technology training and onboarding for new staff members. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Protect institutional data, student records, and school networks from cyber threats.
- Establish data management policies and disaster recovery plans to prevent data loss.
- Ensure all IT systems comply with local educational and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, local child safety guidelines)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
