Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Author for Uttarakhand General Studies (GS) and General Knowledge (GK) content development. The candidate will be responsible for writing, editing, reviewing, and updating high-quality content for competitive examinations and academic publications related to Uttarakhand.
Key Responsibilities
- Write original and accurate content for Uttarakhand GS & GK books, question banks, and study materials.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Conduct research on Uttarakhand history, geography, polity, economy, culture, current affairs, and related topics.
- Verify facts and update content as per the latest examination patterns and syllabus.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Review and improve existing content whenever required.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Uttarakhand GS & GK subjects.
- Prior experience in content writing, book writing, editing, or academic publishing.
- Excellent command of Hindi and/or English language.
- Familiarity with Uttarakhand state-level competitive examinations.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
- Experience as an author, editor, faculty member, or subject matter expert will be preferred.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject.
- Previous experience in educational publishing, competitive exam content development, or textbook writing.
