Structural inspections and develop rectification schemes for deteriorated structures. The following plants are to be inspected over a duration of 12 months.

b. RMHS – 4MT,7MT and 10MT
c. Sinter plant - 1,2,3&4
d. Pellet plant – 1,2 & 3
e. Blast furnace -1,2,3&4
f. SMS -1,2 & 3 & related auxiliary units
g. Coke oven 3 & 4
h. EMD structures (Trestles & Galleries)
i. CRM 1 , 2 & its service center.
k. HSM 1 @ 2
l. WRM1@2, BRM 1@ 2
m. Corex 1 & 2
n. LCP 1,2 @3
p. ACL & ACL service centers.
2. The Engineer shall inspect the whole structure from base to roof top of structure, which includes columns base plate, foundation bolts, bracings, tie beams, girder cap plates, crane rails, crane girder, walk way, surge plate, auxiliary girder, end plates, column to girder connection members, wind girders, roof girder, rafters, roof grit beams between the rafters, roof top dust accumulations, gutter, down take pipes, staircases, different level of floors, end connections, conveyor systems, pipe galleries, cable galleries. Etc.,
3. Engineers can do the chemical and mechanical property test if they want to identify the route cause, it can be done at Client's lab.
4. Client will do nondestructive test like, UT, MPT and DPT on requirement basis as per the direction of service engineer.
5. The engineer also check the structural verticality, straightness of the structures, levels and coordinates. Client will arrange the required helpers & surveyors.
6. The rectification shall be done under the supervision of consulting agency’s engineer. After execution re-inspection and final certification is consulting agency scope.
7. The engineer's qualification shall be a minimum of 7 years of experience for diploma holders and a minimum of 4 years for those with a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
