Lilly is seeking a Search Engine Marketing specialist to elevate its externally recognized In-House Paid (SEM) Team to create meaningful connections with consumers and healthcare providers, drive business results, and ultimately help deliver on its company purpose to make life better for people around the world.
The Search ecosystem is particularly dynamic and swiftly evolving – marked by shifts in user behavior and loyalty, new ways to leverage data, and more. Lilly recognizes the need to keep a continuous pulse on the Paid Search landscape to ensure its solutions and expertise remain current and relevant as it strives to meet the needs of customers when and where they want to engage.
The Search Engine Marketing Associate is charged with working with a highly motivated team, assisting with strategy & operations, and driving both executional excellence and channel innovation in partnership with Brand Teams, Therapeutic Areas, and Cross-Functional players across Lilly globally.
The Search Capabilities Team is part of Lilly’s Digital Engagement Organization – joining the Enterprise Website Team and Social Media Center of Excellence – which collectively designs and deploys integrated, innovative digital marketing strategies to improve health outcomes and address timely business needs across Customers, Business Units, Functions, and Geographies.
Responsibilities:
The Search Engine Marketing Associate will be responsible for executing a strategic framework for paid search, which includes helping to develop a keyword approach across customer groups and therapeutic areas, daily search campaign management, optimization and partnering with leading technology partners in the search space. The Search Engine Marketing associate will also be responsible for partnering with cross functional teams and marketing teams to establish Key Performance Indicators that align to the overall brand strategy and channel mix. The Search Engine Marketing associate will also be responsible for assisting the business unit leads on the Search Engine Marketing team with report pulling, auditing, bidding recommendations and changes, ad copy development, testing, and keyword research.
Specific responsibilities:

Assist in the development of an effective, cohesive paid search strategy, including an overlap strategy between Healthcare Provider and Direct To Consumer paid search campaigns, as well as within a disease state or therapeutic area.

Isolate search behaviors to a target audience to adjust strategy to ensure campaigns are reaching appropriate audience.

Ongoing keyword research and optimization.

Build, execute and manage Paid Search campaigns across Lilly’s Portfolio of Brands.

Identify new optimization and testing opportunities to enhance search performance and drive the business forward.

Foster productive industry relationships and manage integration among key strategic partners.

Foster collaborative relationship with key internal teams.

Responsible for daily budget management, reporting and pacing across a number of priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree
-
1+ years media agency or consumer and/or Pharma/Healthcare industry experience – can be general digital marketing experience or specific to Paid Search

Digital Channel/tactic understanding, including measurement and optimization

Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Skai, or other Bid Management Platforms

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
