As we scale our features, marketplace, and user interface, we are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester Intern to join our development team in Kakkanad and ensure our products are completely bug-free and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual & App Testing: Perform end-to-end manual testing on our mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web platforms to ensure smooth functionality.
- Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, record, and track functional bugs, UI/UX glitches, and system performance issues using sheets or bug-tracking tools.
- Test Case Creation: Assist in writing and executing clear, comprehensive test cases and checklists based on app feature requirements.
- Regression Testing: Re-test fixed bugs and perform regression checks before new app updates are pushed to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- User Perspective Validation: Test the platform from both the consumer side (homeowners looking for services) and the professional side (architects/contractors managing dashboards) to ensure an optimal user experience.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: B.Tech (CS/IT), BCA, MCA, B.Sc Computer Science, or graduates who have completed a certified course in Software Testing.
- Core Knowledge: Strong conceptual understanding of Manual Testing, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Bug Life Cycle.
- Platform Familiarity: Comfortable testing across multiple environments, specifically mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and responsive web browsers.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a clear communication style to explain bugs to the development team.
- Bonus Points: Basic familiarity with API testing (Postman) or introductory knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Appium).
