Role Summary
We are looking for an entry-level Sales Development Trainee who will support the
marketing and sales team in business development, lead qualification, client
communication, follow-ups, and sales coordination activities. The selected candidate
will be trained to understand the complete sales funnel, especially how to convert
Marketing Qualified Leads into Sales Qualified Leads, and will gradually be groomed for
a full-time Sales / Business Development role.
This role is ideal for a regular MBA graduate who has strong communication skills, a
learning mindset, and a basic understanding of sales, marketing, lead generation, and
client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Support the marketing and sales team in day-to-day business development and
sales activities.
Assist in qualifying inbound and outbound leads and help move MQLs toward
SQL stage.
Coordinate with prospects and clients through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
Facilitate communication between prospects, clients, and the internal sales team.
Maintain regular follow-up discipline with leads and update the sales team on
progress.
Help in scheduling meetings, product demos, discovery calls, and sales
discussions.
Maintain lead and client interaction records in CRM or tracking sheets.
Support the team in preparing basic sales notes, client summaries, and follow-up
communication.
Learn TechAIVV’s offerings, sales process, target markets, and client
engagement approach.
Gradually take ownership of assigned leads, follow-ups, and pipeline support
activities.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong confidence in interacting with Indian and global clients.
Basic understanding of sales, marketing, lead generation, MQL, SQL, and sales
funnel concepts.
Good email writing and business communication skills.
Strong follow-up discipline and ownership mindset.
Ability to understand client requirements and communicate them clearly to the
sales team.
Good listening skills and ability to ask relevant questions.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced
environment.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Good to Have / Nice to Have
Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client
coordination.
Exposure to B2B sales, SaaS, technology services, recruitment services, or
digital marketing.
Basic understanding of LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and prospecting
tools.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar
platforms.
Ability to prepare simple client notes, meeting summaries, and sales follow-up
emails.
Interest in growing into a Sales, Business Development, Account Management,
or GTM role.
Candidate Profile
Regular MBA graduate / final-year MBA student from a recognized college.
Specialization preferred: Marketing, Sales, International Business, or Business
Management.
Strong English communication is mandatory as the candidate will interact with
global clients.
Must have a proactive learning attitude and willingness to be trained from the
ground level.
Should be comfortable with calling, emailing, follow-ups, coordination, and client-
facing communication.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
