Business Development Engineer (BDE)
Role Overview
Tritorc Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive, technically inclined, and results-driven Business Development Engineer (BDE) to support business growth across key industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, promote our range of hydraulic torque tools, bolting solutions, tensioners, and industrial maintenance equipment, and develop long-term business relationships.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for young engineering professionals to combine technical knowledge with business development and sales responsibilities in a growing industrial equipment company.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Customer Engagement
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and capability discussions with prospective clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable bolting and torque solutions.
- Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
- Visit customer sites to identify opportunities and understand application requirements.
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Steel, Cement, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, industrial databases, and customer referrals.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve business growth targets.
- Track industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and ongoing projects.
- Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, service, and procurement teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Communicate customer feedback and market requirements to internal stakeholders.
Travel & Market Development
- Travel extensively across India to meet customers, conduct site visits, attend industry events, and develop new business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations, exhibitions, and trade shows.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
B.Tech / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
- 0–4 years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, or Engineering Services.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a keen interest in sales are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in hydraulic tools, torque tools, bolting solutions, industrial maintenance equipment, or related engineering industries will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering products and applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of CRM software will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and business development activities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
