About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated lathe operator to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for machining precision components, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting production activities related to carbon composite and lightweight structural parts.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional and/or CNC lathe machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Machine components within specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain production records and follow shop floor procedures.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets.
Required Qualifications
- ITI (Turner/Machinist) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience operating lathe machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of machining processes and shop floor practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CNC lathe operations.
- Experience machining composite, carbon fiber, or lightweight engineering materials.
- Knowledge of tooling, machine setup, and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with 5S and manufacturing safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
