Job Summary
A Dentist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases, injuries, and conditions affecting the teeth, gums, and oral cavity. The role involves providing comprehensive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and maintaining accurate clinical records while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients to assess oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform routine and advanced dental procedures, including:
- Dental fillings
- Root canal treatments
- Tooth extractions
- Crowns and bridges
- Dentures
- Preventive treatments
- Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications when appropriate.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain detailed patient records and treatment documentation.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)/Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), as applicable.
- Valid dental license/registration with the relevant regulatory authority.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent (if required).
- Knowledge of modern dental procedures, equipment, and technologies.

Experience
- Fresh graduates to experienced practitioners, depending on the role.
- Prior clinical experience in a dental clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Dental clinics, hospitals, healthcare centers, or private practices.
- May require flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends.
- Compliance with infection-control and occupational safety standards is essential.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
