Sr Offering Management Specialist is responsible & accountable for end-to-end ownership of the Fire within the HBA India Buildings business. This includes owning the current product portfolio, identifying customer needs and creating a differentiated offering with strong value proposition to serve these needs while ensuring high ROI for the business, working with engineering, sourcing & quality assurance teams to ensure on-time, on-cost NPIs, defining the market positioning, pricing & target segments for the portfolio, developing sales & channel competencies to ensure sales volumes, drive revenue and gross margin as per defined AOP/targets.
We are looking for a self-driven, pro-active, mature professional with strong technical and functional skills to take challenges head on, have the right mix of strategic thinking and tactical execution skills to grow the faster than market, profitably. The candidate should be willing to work with diverse & large cross-functional teams spread across India and should have strong logical & influencing skills supported by meticulous planning & execution rigor.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out Make vs Buy decisions for NPI development. Liaison with Engineering, Sourcing, QA teams to execute NPIs. Meet 100% say/do ratio on all NPIs. Align with Regional & Gal counterparts for cross-learning and roadmap alignment.
- End to end brand ownership and product lifecycle management (product phase-in/out, demand planning, SIOP). Ensure portfolio is always relevant to the market with optimal brand mix to ensure all target segments are served profitably with minimal conflict and cannibalization.
- Drive Pricing impact - Value New/Replacement projects via NPIs, Discount management, Cost pass through to protect margins.
- Sales, channel and customer competency development through trainings and Marcom activities to ensure highly trained and motivated force behind the. Plan and execute sales & channel incentive programs & schemes to drive volumes. Track win/loss and take corrective actions as and when required.
- Implement Offering strategies aligned with the strategic plan. Align functional plans with the strategic plan. Lead integrated cross-functional teams to execute plan to drive outstanding financial results.
- Integrate inputs to develop distinctive product plans with outstanding financial outcomes; be competent in microeconomics, finance, VOC, research and analysis and basic Offering toolkit [market definition and sizing, segmentation, value management, targeting and positioning, pricing].
- Use Honeywell’s Management Operating System (MOS) to drive right behaviors & results

QUALIFICATIONS:
B. Tech or B.E from a reputed Institute with MBA
Work experience of 5-10 years with 5+ years in relevant Fire industry is mandatory.
Customer facing experience in Technology/Solutions businesses is preferred.
Offering experience in segmentation, value pricing, new offering development is required.
Results driven track record – proven ability to translate strategies into action and results
B. Tech or B.E from a reputed Institute with MBA
