Job description
As a Sales Account Manager, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You are expected to recognize and qualify opportunities and turn leads to long-lasting partnerships. With your extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, you will communicate directly with customers and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. You are expected to assist in developing sales strategies and meeting sales quotas. As an Account Manager, you are expected to act proactively to address customers’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to end. Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-customers relationships at a high standard.
As part of your job is to handle key strategic customers of the company, you are expected to be highly organized, passionate about customer relations, and focused on enhancing the customer experience. You are also expected to give guidance to other junior Sales positions including but not limited to Account Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies, setting, and meeting quotas.
- Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success
- Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
- Make visits to customers to identify opportunities for growth
- Manage all reporting requirements about the business status of customers' accounts
- Provide support for customers by learning about and satisfying their needs.
- Follow up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
- Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
- Maintaining a database of contact information through the company's CRM system
- Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
- Effectively handle and resolve in a timely passion all customer complaints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- With at least 3 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry as an Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer or related field
- Has a good network and strong business relationship with key decision-makers in the electronics industry
- A track record of having successfully negotiated and closed several deals in the electronics industry
- Excellent problem-solving ability, communication, and organization skills
- Strong drive, enthusiasm, self-motivation and has a zeal to close deals
- Autonomous, proactive, self-assured, and a high degree of personal integrity
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills, broad business acumen, and skill set from which to understand and optimize a solution;
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Must be living in the Northern Region of India
