Job Summary:
The Visual Merchandiser lead plays a crucial role in creating a visually appealing and enticing shopping experience for our customers. This position is responsible for leading a team of visual merchandisers, developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies, and ensuring that our stores showcase our products in the most attractive and sales-driven manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Build and train, and supervise a team of visual merchandisers.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the team to ensure consistency and excellence in visual merchandising.
2. Visual Merchandising Strategy:
- Develop and implement a cohesive visual merchandising strategy in line with the company's brand and marketing objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to adapt and refine the visual merchandising approach.
3. Store Layout and Design:
- Plan and design store layouts that maximize traffic flow and highlight key products.
- Work with the store design team to ensure that fixtures, lighting, and signage support the overall visual merchandising strategy.
4. Product Placement and Presentation:
- Oversee the arrangement and presentation of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
- Ensure that displays are visually appealing, up-to-date, and follow the company's guidelines.
5. Visual Communication:
- Create visually engaging signage, banners, and promotional materials to enhance the in-store shopping experience.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional campaigns with in-store visuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Fashion, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, with at least [8] years in a managerial role.
- Strong creative and design skills.
- Excellent knowledge of retail industry trends.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and Microsoft Office.
