Role Overview
The Placement Lead will be responsible for building and managing relationships with corporate organizations, identifying hiring requirements, securing placement opportunities for trained candidates, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization through strategic business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be highly energetic, result-oriented, proactive, and passionate about student placements and employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Relations & Business Development
- Identify and establish partnerships with companies across various industries for recruitment and placement opportunities.
- Generate and manage hiring requirements from corporate clients.
- Develop long-term relationships with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, and hiring managers.
- Expand the organization's employer network across India.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and discussions with prospective employers.
Placement Management
- Match candidate profiles with relevant job opportunities.
- Coordinate recruitment drives, interviews, assessments, and placement activities.
- Ensure successful placement of trained candidates within target timelines.
- Maintain placement records, hiring statistics, and employer databases.
- Track candidate progress and employer feedback.
Institutional Collaboration
- Support business development initiatives with colleges and universities.
- Strengthen relationships with academic institutions for training and placement programs.
- Collaborate with internal training teams to align candidate readiness with industry requirements.
Strategic Growth
- Analyze market trends, hiring patterns, and industry demands.
- Develop strategies to increase placement opportunities and placement conversion rates.
- Contribute to revenue growth through employer acquisition and strategic partnerships.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and industry forums whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related specialization.
- Prior experience in Placement Management, Corporate Relations, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Business Development, or Campus Hiring is preferred.
- Fresh candidates with exceptional communication skills, strong networking abilities, and a passion for placements may also be considered.
